| If you like peace and tranquility and being close to Quinta, this is the place. We were satisfied with the room we had. It's definitely worth the price that we paid. We also liked the fact that it was really close to the heart of Playa - Quinta Ave. My wife liked the fact that she could just put on sandals and grab her purse, walk down a few dozen steps (she's kinda short) and she's in the thick of it all...shopping, bar hopping and going to la playa. This place is centrally located and peaceful. The kitchenette was good, it allowed us to cook breakfast before venturing out. It was convenient and saved us some money for shopping or what not. We had a patio area..sitting for smoking, or winding down with a cerveza. Which was really nice after a long day site seeing or shopping.This place is not a party place and we liked it that way. It's right accross the street from a car rental place, (a small one), has a convenient store at the corner for water, beer...stuff.The only thing that was kind of a drag.. was the construction that was happening while we were there. We were awoken twice in the morning around 8 am by some hammering...kind of annoying when you're trying to sleep in. We imagine it would be a better place if it wasn't for the hammering. But we learned to live with it. I think someone complained because it was only for a couple of days or so. |

| Beautiful grounds - outstanding staff - excellent location...The hotel is just steps away from 5th Ave, but it feels like a secluded, private resort. The staff were always available and willing to help in any way and very friendly.Because there are only seven rooms, it was like having our own pool. It is only a couple of blocks to the beach, an ATM and car rental are just outside the hotel and its an easy walk to the ferry to Cozumel. |
