POSITIVES:Great location in the Golden Zone, across the street from the beach.Helpful front desk, efficient housecleaning, grounds kept very cleanNice in-house restaurant for breakfastNot so positives:We had a king size mattress and it was the most uncomfortable thing I have ever slept on. I would wake up every 2 hours to change position I was so sore. I would wake up feeling horrible. It put a bit of a damper on the trip. There could have more towels made available. There were 2 towels and a floor mat, nothing else. Also the showerhead was a joke, no pressure, just a steady pour.

As I went in a trip of business, my experience was not very good because the people in the room close to mine was very noisy, they can not live me sleep well, also because the two rooms was some conected by only a close door. Another important thing to me an the most important was that the hotel can not provide an invoice of the cost of my trip so, I have some problems in my job in orther to get back my money. The location is excelent because is in the better area for fun in Mazatln, close to vey good restaurants, close to the beach and it is very secure area.

Because we drive to our home in Nuevo Vallarta every year with our two BIG dogs it is wonderful to be able to find a clean, well run hotel that will let us bring our dogs and NOT have to sneak them into room. Great Italian restaurant just down street, just had breakfast at the INN. Staff was accomodating and frienndly. Owner was on site when we stayed in 07. Going back again this winter.

Azteca Inn is no bargain, at least for Mexico. Location is desireable, but not right on the beach. Room was dark and A/C was either on or off - no temperature or circulation controls. Other room amenities were minimal. No facial tissues, no bottled water, no luggage racks and no note pads or anything to write with. However, staff was friendly and accommodating, cleanliness was a by-word and the bar was comfortable and inviting.

If you want to be where the action is at this is the place. Not fancy but walk out the door and everything you need is within 2 blocks. Nice people, very friendly. Will stay here every time i come to Maz.

If you know where the Pepe Toro disco is you will love this hotel. The maid was so cute she put everything in proper order better than my mother.. Why pay for the big beach front hotels when you can just walk across the street and still have all the benefits...
