The Royal Crown Paradise Hotel was not only family friendly, but also very wheelchair accessible if needed. Staff was friendly and willing to assist in any matters. Loved it!

Crown Paradise is a nice resort. They have lots of things for the kids to do. Next door to the Golden Crown which is adults only. You may go back and forth between the two with some restrictions. Basically comes down to do you want kids splashing water in your drinks. Drinks are plentiful and they have top shelf if you ask. Very clean and safe. They share nightclub with Golden which has show of family and little nightlife after show is over. Vendors do not come on the property but will ask you the minute you step on beach.

The hotel staff was excellent and the evening shows were nice just not long enough. The food was not that great encept for the french restaurant. I think the food could be better and if so i would stay at the Crown Paradise Club again. This time i would bring my small children because it is very geared to the younger child.

The Crown Paradise Club Puerto Vallarta did not appear very impressive on our approach from the airport, but once inside our opinion certainly changed for the better. Our Bell-boy went beyond the call of duty when it was found my wife had left her purse in the taxi (it was subsequently returned fully intact). Our room was large, had more then adequate storage space for our things, came with a safe, cable TV, table and chair, and a balcony with two chairs and a small table. The facility was clean, spacious, and the employees friendly. We noted a total of four pools with our room overlooking the adult spa and attached bar. This in turn was approximately 50ft to the beach with its lounge chairs and another bar. The four restaurants (American, Italian, French, and Japanese) were convenient and offered excellent selections. Note: the French restaurant was restricted to adults only and with both the Italian and Japanese restaurants had dress codes for the evening meal.

This should be a 3 star resort. They had a problem with getting our room ready because it was not cleaned yet. When we finely checked into our room we found the hot water handle on the bathroom faucet broken and the toilet was leaking from the base. We also found the A/C to have no temperature controls. On or off are your only choices. The beds are hard. Food was OK the buffet was not that good but the other restaurants were much better. I would spend more money and go to a better resort in new Vallarta.

Our overall experience at the Crown Royal Paradise Club was very pleasant. The location was terrific since it was next to the marina (all the tours/excursions just a short walk away!) Also, it was amazing to see the different cruise ships docked each day (and it was very romantic to watch them leave at night, all lit up against the night sky). The resort itself had lots to do and see. The beach wasn't the greatest--somewhat small and and disrupted by the stone breakwaters. Another disappointment was the gym--very hot, very small, and very cramped. Also, there was only one chair in the room. But, despite the room, the rest of the resort is very well laid out and is very family friendly. The water park looked like fun. The hottub swim up bar was very relaxing and fun. The restaurants need you to make reservations, but its worth it. The buffet restaurant allows you to go in to eat at any time, but I highly recommend the restaurants (there is a French, Japanese, and Italian Restaurant). The menu is laid out each day at the activities desk so that you can preview what's available each night.

Designed for couples with children. Water park type area for young children. Scheduled activities available including wind surfing, water aerobics, etc. A good place to stay if you have children... not the best... and not the worst.
