The El Cid Granada Country Club was a place where you got what you paid for. This resort is not as nice as the sister resorts but for the price we paid I can't complain. The resort itself was well kept up as was the property surrounding the resort. However, the rooms could use some updating. The walls are rather thin and you can hear other people talking when they are in the rooms next to you. The pool is also really small; however, by staying at the resort you have access to the other sister resorts which you can either walk to or catch the free shuttle. The staff was very friendly, especially the shuttle drivers. The location was great. It is on the main strip and within walking distance to great bars, restaurants and shops.

Hotel shows it's age. Grounds are well kept but fixtures and furnishings are not generally in good working order. Requested repairs are impossibly slow and mostly ineffective by North American standards. Front desk personnel seemed to try, but they either are in training or did'nt care. You be the judge.
