The Hotel Emporio Reforma offers style, comfort and relaxation. All your needs are met upon arrival and even if you need a jugo verde at three in the morning - room service is happy to oblige. Additionally, the restaurant prepares food to your specifications should you have special dietary needs or restrictions. And the bartender is witty and amusing with anecdotes about the city and its fabulous inhabitants.

There is not better location or hotel that is better for the money in that area. The people in mex city refer to it as a 5 star. The staff was unbelievable, resourceful, kind, and helpful in any way. the whole hotel is clean and elegant, with jacuzzi tubs in all rooms and clean nice beds with plasmas in each room. the location is perfect, in a nice area. i lived in mexico city for two years and this is my favorite place to stay, quaint, colonial, not a huge hotel so you get all the attention you need. never waited in line for anything. Free 1 hour internet per day. ETC. you would be a fool to stay anywhere else.

It's a boutique hotel, very clean, with an excellent staff and great location, on the main avenue of the city. No many restaurats near it but enought if you look for a quick meal.

I needed to go to the american embassy in Mexico City, and I wanted a hotel close to it. This was a very good choice. Good price, and within walking distance of the places I wanted to go to (Alameda, Palacio de Bellas Artes, Zocalo, American Embassy). The staff was very friendly and they answered all the questions promptly and accurately. They also have free internet, which was great because I forgot to print a form I needed at the embassy, and I just filled it in my room and went to the business center to print it.

This was my first time in Mexico City and I really wanted it to be special for my mother and wanted to assure her we would be staying somewhere safe and clean. From the time we got off the taxi, the bellboy came and helped us into the hotel to the morning of check out, they assisted in getting us to the main bus terminal where we continued the rest of our trip in Mexico. Very beautiful and they were always available to assist to all our needs. The food was delicious as well as reasonably priced.

The rooms are small, but they are very clean, great decor, the staff are very friendly and helpful and the food was fantastic. The location is also terrific. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The Hotel Emporio was an overall great place to stay while my visit in Mexico City. I would stay there again! The restaurant was amazing with a great selection of food and drinks. Plus the restaurant staff was great and very helpful with information about the city. The front desk staff was also great with helping with our city tours and calling us a safe taxi at whatever time of the night we needed one. Location was great, safe and close to historic downtown, (zocalo area) only about 30 minute walk. I traveled with my sister and the only thing was I booked a single room for the both of us. The room was very small for two and with only a full bed! But the bathroom was actually a good size with a big and spacious tub. Also, our room had a safe which we utilized every day. Plus a great gym. All in all, I would stay at Emporio Hotel again.

I stayed at this hotel with my mom. We found the staff to be very, very nice. They were good about giving directions around the city. The cafe was lovely with friendly staff. The room service food was delish! The suites are very swanky. The room we had a jacuzzi that was a little dirty but after we blasted the water out it was fine. The bathroom was very modern looking. Only problem was finding the place initially but the staff was kind enough to come and find us and let us follow them to the hotel.

I thoroughly enjoyed being on Paseo La Reforma for access to micro bus, taxis. The hotel staff could not have been more helpful with newspapers, room service, requests responses. I loved the 1 free hour of internet at business office. Room was small but I spent most time touring.

We just spent a wonderful week at the Hotel Emporio Reforma. The staff was courteous and gracious, the rooms were spotless and comfortable, and the food was great. They made us feel like part of the family. I don't know what else a person could want for in a stay in Mexico. If the staff was not fluent in English, they found someone that was. Everyone was extremely helpful and friendly. If you needed ideas of places to visit around the area, they could help you book an excursion and offer advice about the locations. I would not hesitate to stay with them again. I only wish I could have stayed longer!

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel for three nights. It is in a very safe neighborhood close to most tourist attractions and old town. Very friendly staff although they are not very fluent in English. The hotel has the amanities that I was looking for: a restaurant, good lobby etc. Menu was limited but food was quite good. I recommend this hotel to visitors.

hotel was great loved every thing about it. everyone was very nice. I have been alittle freaked about staying in mexico city. The hotel was in a very safe feeling place. never once di i feel unsafe in the area where the hotel is. will be staying at same hotel next time im there. (two times a year.)

Great location. The staff was very helpful. We used the hotel taxi for all our trips during the week. The food in the hotel was very good and had more then enough variety for us. The morning buffet costs 9 dollars and the lunch buffet was 11 dollars. Resturant is open to midnight. The single double bed room was small by US standards and equal to hotels we have stayed in while in Europe and South America. If you are looking for a larger room go for the two double beds. Rooms while small are clean and new. Bedding was very comfortable.
