Set just above Condesa Beach in the Hotel Zone, Fiesta Americana Villa Acapulco, a family-friendly hotel is built around the hillside?s giant boulders, with staircases leading down to the soft golden sand. Fiesta Americana Condesa Acapulco is located approximately 12 miles from the airport and sits above Condesa Beach (accessed by stairs), east and up the hill from the Glorieta Diana traffic circle. Just 91.5m (100 yards) north of the hotel's entrance, a series of dinner restaurants terraced into a bluff overlooking Condesa Beach offer panoramic views of sunsets, Acapulco Bay, and lights around the bay.Attractions include two pools (one with an infinity edge), water sports, beachside dining, a children?s club, a palm-studded sunning terrace, and a streetfront Italian bistro. Rooms with walls in tropical colors all have balconies with varying views of Acapulco Bay. On the beach fronting the hotel and on other beaches around Acapulco Bay, independent operators rent snorkeling gear, personal watercraft, and motor boats, and arrange snorkeling, scuba diving, glass-bottom-boat, and fishing excursions and book parasailing flights, water skiing, and banana-boat rides. Hiking in the Sierra Madre Mountains surrounding Acapulco, horseback riding on ocean beaches noted for surfing, and jet-boat river trips are popular activities. All rooms have marble floors, private terraces or balconies with ocean views, purified tap water, minibars, cable TV, hairdryers, air-conditioning, and coffeemakers.

The room was very comfortable, the room seemed much larger than most with a desk area and a table and two chairs. I liked the fact that the bathroom was separate from the vanity area and there was a sink with a long counter and there was adequate space for hanging clothes and they provided two suitcase stands. The location was very good -- all the restaurants and the nigth life were very close.

I had stayed at this hotel a couple of times on business several years ago and was not favorably impressed. Fiesta Americana seems to have listened to their customers because it felt much less like a ripoff this time. The rooms have been nicely updated, with a kitchenette which can help you save some money. The staff is very friendly and helpful. My only true dissatisfation is with the sales pitch for their vacation club that they try to push on you after checking in. They offer you a free breakfast in exchange for listening to the sales presentation, which I turned down and felt unconfortable because the lady was very cordially but insistingly offering it. It made me look like a jerk in front of my girlfriend but we really just wanted some privacy and had no intention of buying anything. If you stay here and want to get some decent night sleep ask for a room opposite the side of the hotel where the bungee jump is located. There are many open bars and clubs so it is very loud. This is a family oriented hotel so if you are looking for a romantic private place you are better off staying somewhere else, especially durig vacatuion periods and weekends.

The Fiesta Americana Villas Alcapulco has a very pleasant atmosphere. They have alot of staff the rooms were ready on time and stylish along with the pool area and restaurants. I can't think of anything negative to say about my stay except perhaps that it is on a busy street so you do hear traffic going by.

for the buck, this was a great value; just renovated, very clean, middle of everything downtown. came with full kitchen, good sized living room with balcony, nice bedroom with balcony. great for the value. would stay there again. only downfall, had to walk next hotel over, for a good beach area. if you can put up with the many beach vendors, which we learned to handle very early, was not bad.

The hotel was very confortable. The staff go out of there way to make sure your stay is enjoyable. Our room was wonderful. We had a one bedroom suite. I have a teen and she slept in the living room. We had a full kitchen. The only problem I found was if you are a light sleeper the noise from the clubs and traffic on the odd numbered rooms can keep you up at night. It's much quieter on the even side. Our room was in direct view of the bungie jump. It's great for watching all the action but the music in the clubs goes til 5:30 in the morning.

As always, the Fiesta Americana Villas hotel provided a very warm and comfortable environment for vacationing in Acapulco. Despite a problem with the toilet, the suite that I stayed in was well kept...the comforts of home (two tv's,good closet space, two great balconies) were much appreciated, especially the kitchen area. There was ample space for two people to 'stretch out' in. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect...within walking distance from many of the attractions.

I really enjoyed staying at the Fiesta Americana. It is located at the heart of Acapulco, restaurants and bars are within walking distance. The service was great and the rooms are big and clean. The only thing at the beach area, vendors are harassing you all the time. But if you want to suntan, the pool area is a great place to relax.

The hotel was very comftoarble and clean. It is also located in the perfect spot next to many of the night clubs. The people were also very friendly and always there to help you.

Fiesta American is recently updated, with comfortable rooms and great beach&swimming areas. Room had new furniture, couch, flat-screen TV, couch, carpet, & paint. Very clean. Their part of the beach is not as steep as most at Acapulco, and so much safer [none of the beaches were really good for little kids]. Really nice pool areas, shallow and deeper. Hotel claims that its water is safe for gringos. Staff was very attentive and helpful. Only downside is that hotel is very eager to sell timeshares.

I had stayed at a Fiesta Hotel a few times in Cancun so when I saw the Hotel in Acapulco I felt confident that it would be a good hotel. I had been to Acapulco once before for a short stay before a cruise and it was so/so. But my sister had to get away and again it was short notice so I had a limited choice. My sister and I had wonderful stay. The Hotel had been closed so the rooms could be remodeled and we were told that the hotel had opened up again in Dec 2006. Our room was completly redone and sooo clean. We had considered upgrading when we got there but because of a convention we could not. We liked our room anyway and would probably have not.We felt very safe in the Hotel. My sister loved the lighting in the bathroom area. We had a refrigerator and a safe. Everything was new. The Hotel was older and had a lot of character shade and great views. The food, service and pool was wonderful. Check in was very fast but because they are changing to a vacation club they wanted you to come to a short meeting. We were asked to go to breakfast a few times but there was no pressure. We did't go. Our only problem was getting the $50.00 food and beverage credit. You must make sure it has been taken off on your bill when you leave. For the money and last minuet planning it was a great deal and we only wished we could have stayed longer. Make sure you take a cab and go to the Flamingo Hotel for drinks to watch the sun go down- this is where people like John Wayne and Betti Davis would stay.

The Fiesta Americana was very comfy, spacious, modern, well located, cool decor, nice pools and friendly staff. But there was something terrible with the plumbing. Maybe it was our luck but the water would not stop flowing into our room, very dirty water my friends and the maintanance guys ware out to lunch. Very inefficient. But I did love it overall.

Check in was a night mare because of the front desk clerks attitude when we ask to changed from on room to the other.we asked to be changed to another room because of all the construction noise such as pounding on our ceiling. The room was beautiful but there was just to much noise. then we were changed to a room that was also great but only had one bed and we wanted two. third room was not as nice but still good, but did not have a room safe.So On our forth attemptto get what asked for in the first place the front desk clerk had bad attitude about the fact that we had to many needs for them to be able to acomidate. The manager on duty made no attempt to fix the situation.fromthe back office and directed the front desk clerks to make surethat all guest are aware of the down falls of there stay at this hotel so that they would not be surprised or disapointed when they got to the room. My friend at this point was very up set and we just decided to keep the sub standard room that we ended staying in the entire time. The beds and maid service were the only good thing about our rooms. The sliding glass doors to balcony we impossiable to look and did not close all the way so we could hear all of the traffic day and night. The TV was a piece of junk and also did not very good. The shower leaked all over the floor so we had to request extra bath mats to soop up all the water. They did come and fix the leak and still did not get it right. I am going to file a complait with the general manager or the hotel as well as the CEO of Fiesta Americana. The thing that saved our trip for being a disater was the maids and wait staff did a great job of taking care or us. Also we had to let go of our anger and disgust or it would have ruined out trip totaly .I am going to seek some sort of compensation for all of this.
