This was a great place to get away for R and R. Good location-close to grocery store and flea market. The pool was very nice. They had a variety of activities (water aerobics, volleybal, etc). We didn't know it was rainy season so instead of blue, blue water we got brown. Only one major complaint-the bed. The bed was hard as a rock.

We really love this hotel the only thing that we would recommend is they focus their music to everyone. We had an awesome time. Not just wild music most of the time. Our room was great except the air conditioner stunk every so often. And they did need to do some maintanance on the slider door. The shower was awesomely huge.

I enjoyed my stay at this resort, on the whole the employees were very friendly and were always willing to assist with whatever you needed. The maintenance of the grounds and public areas was very good. The food was very good at the restaurants that I tried. The room was comfortable, no complaints. The nightly entertainment at Club Nitro across the street was not bad. The only slight negative would be the vendors on the beach, a few of them would get a bit more insistent as the day wore on, but for the most part they left you alone when you told them no thanks. But all in all, an enjoyable stay.

The Golden Crown PV was excellent for the price. 24 Hr room serivice...cababana's on the beach...great food and service. The only drawback is that it is very small resort. No indoor bar with cozy couches...no internet area..But like I said it is excellent with what they have to work with. The only negative thing is they need a shuttle from airport...because of all the time share people attacking you at the airport. Also beach venders were relentless.

My wife and i recently went to the Golden Crown Paradise to celebrate our 6th wedding anniversary. It was outstanding, this was our fourth trip to the Paradise and we do plan to go back again.

The hotel is average for what it costs. We eat breakfast at the hotel but would venture out and have lunch in town and leave again to explore Puerto Vallarta's excellent and varied cuisine. In all, if you're one looking to stay in the hotel and eat your meals (and drink) then it's a deal, otherwise choose a hotel in the Downtown or Romantic zone so you can explore the city and eat out.

We took this vacation as a chance to relax. When we arrived on Saturday our only complaint was that the main restaurant was closed due to construction. When Monday rolled around we became more aggravated because the construction on the hotel began and we heard circular saws and hammers all day continuing through the week. Not really what you expect on a relaxing vacation. Another issue we had was the smell of the room. It always had one of three smells, bad diarrhea, wet mold, or cigarette smoke. We were very disappointed and had we known construction was going on would not have selected this property. The hotel staff was very kind and quick with any requests.

For an all inclusive resort in Mexico, and being an experienced traveller to Mexico, I found the hotel staff at this resort to be unaccomodating, rude and unfriendly. They would frequently ignore us while waiting for a drink or dining. It was only after we started giving tips did the bartenders and wait staff pay attention to us. The better quality liqours were kept under lock and key, and we were frequently told they were out of a particular brand. We would go next door to the adjacent hotel, same management, the better quality liqours were displayed at all times, the bartenders and wait staff were very friendly and willing to provide us with whatever we asked for. We paid $52 round trip for shuttle service to and from the hotel/airport. When we departed the hotel, the shuttle service paid a cab driver $5 to drive us to the airport which was about 15 minutes (at the most). The cab driver stated a cab ride from that hotel to the airport is $5-6 at its highest. So, a $52 charge round trip for a shuttle was robbery!

Hotel was great. Staff was friendly and accomodating. I had read the reviews from people complaining about the food however, it was great. It was my first time at an all inclusive resort and took a couple days to figure out when/where to eat. The service was outstanding. I highly recomend this hotel and will stay there next year.

Coming home another traveler commented that all inclusive meant all drunks. This was not so at this resort. It was very quiet after 11 pm. There is a great variety of food selections, and the staff were very quick in responding to requests. The only drawback was the pillows; they were very firm and uncomfortable. The beach was well maintained. Overall, I will return.

We stayed in two different rooms. The first room was very nice and spacious. It was the ocean view room with king size bed, balcony, and oversized bathroom. We also stayed in the Honeymoon suite for the last 2 nights and this room was to die for. The balcony had the jacuzzi tub(heart shaped), a dinning table, sunbathing area and then just a sitting area. The room was just average but we spent most of the time on the balcony. The bathroom was oversized which is nice when two people are trying to get ready. The Hotel Staff were very nice and made us feel like the queen and king while we stayed. The hotel is about 15 min to downtown, $5 taxi ride. The resurant El Saladors was very good food and atmosphere. The other resturants were ok. I am glad they have the sister hotel next door so we could have a variety. The 24hr room service was awesome and never longer than 30min to have the food delivered.

The Golden Crown Paradise Resort was FANTASTIC! The people were very friendly, there was always something to do, the room was clean and had an incredible view! The drink service on the beach was superb! The club across the street, Nitro, had its good nights and its slow ones, but the waiters there were friendly and funny. Always felt very comfortable. Went on a girls weekend, there were four of us, and never once did we feel unsafe! We are already planning another trip there! The staff was very friendly and very helpful. The food was pretty good, Salvatore's was the best place to eat! Try the sexy coffee! Can't wait to go back!

The Golden Crown Paradise Resort was a nice place to stay at. The staff was incredible! The pool is very nice and big; however, it does not have a swim up bar. The nice restaurants were very elegant with 5 course meals. The only thing is there is a dress code and you have to make reservations prior to 5:30 pm. I had a great time and would come back again one day.

This place was truly amazing! It was everything we expected and more! The only thing that we wished would have been different was for the hotel to actually take initiative in roping off the beach chairs/canopies section from the vendors. As soon as we tried to lay down on those lounge chairs and relax on the beach, vendors were all over us and wouldn't stop pestering us to buy something from them. No wonder we never really saw anyone using those chairs while we were there! Other than that tiny aspect of it, everything else was fabulous! The staff were so nice and helpful. The room was kept very well and room service was phenomenal! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone - especially if they want to do a vacation in a place that is not swarming with kids! That was a major plus!!! Thanks Golden Crown for a wonderful stay!

Golden Crown Paradise Resort, is a great place for couples in fact that is all you see around you primarily because it is an adults all inclusive hotel. This was my first time being at an adults only hotel and it was very nice. The staff are very friendly and they love you more when you speak Spanish! The nightly entertainment every night was great but it was mostly families because the neighboring hotel is family resort who share the same amenities.

I traveled to the Golden Crown Paradise Resort Puerto Vallarta - All Inclusive with my 19 year old daughter for a quiet break and relaxing atmosphere to discuss her upcoming Senior year in University. We were very pleased with the overall stay and that we could also use the restaurants and facilities of the sister hotel next door. We only left either place one time to take a cab into downtown to visit the Cathedral and then to go to a Sam's Club and Walmart within walking distance in order to pick up a camera battery.. The pool was relaxing and you could eat or drink 24/7, either at the rstaurants during their hours of service, or the 24 hour coffee shop or room service. Besides 2 free bars at the pool there was also a taqueria, open and in operation from 11:00 AM until 05:00 PM, serving up freshly made tacos, pizza, nachos or burgers. Staff was very friendly and the place was clean, neat and orderly. The Golden Crown Paradise Resort was also well supervised by Security Staff at the entrances and also on the beach side of the pool.

The hotel was great. The staff is very friendly and will accommodate your every need. The food was very good, though you had to make reservations to eat their two restaurants. The third restaurant was a walk-in and their food was good also. Pool was very big and always at the right temperature. Wake up early to get some good beach or pool chairs. Just remember to TIP everyone that helps, especially the bartenders. They didn't water down drinks and they were friendly as well.

The Golden Crown was a great expierence with a few exceptions. We were on our honeymoon and the only room they had was one with double beds (A lot of couples had this problem), because we went in the rainy season, the ocean water was dirty (but we spent most of our time at the pool anyway). The beach vendors weren't that bad and the music they played all day was not at all too loud. The staff was great and the service was prompt. It takes awhile for the water to get hot when taking a shower but other than that our room was great, good view, and the beds were a little hard but most hotel beds are. The hotel staff was great at explaining cab fares and the currency exchange. We would definately go back but not in June, too humid. There are plenty of activities and and restruants so you never have to leave the resort.

This all-inclusive was great. There were activities everyday and organized trips out to the city. The food was good and theres a nice selection. The location was a 25cent bus ride away from the city. There are actually two hotels that were part of the same chain so you can use the amenities at both. We got an awesome oceanside room.

Golden Crown Paradise is a very nice, affordable, and very clean hotel. The staff are very helpful and accommodating. The room service is 24 hours which is very convenient. They have a variety of great restaurants to pick from such as the Paradise and Salvador Restaurant and Fujiyama Japanese Restaurant (next door). You just have to make a reservation every night. You can also dine in their sister hotel, Crown Paradise as well as use their facilities. They also have great alcoholic beverages. The hotel is also 5 to 10 minutes from the Centro (Malecon), and it only cost $5 flat rate. Taxi's are available anytime of the day to take you to and from the hotel. My stay at Golden Crown Paradise was excellent and I highly recommend it to anyone.
