This welcoming hotel is spread over two 3-storey buildings, of which 45 are double and 11 are suites. Guests may make use of the foyer with 24-hour reception desk and the 300 m2 garden outside. There is also a bar and an air-conditioned restaurant with a non-smoking available for use. Furthermore, there is a public Internet terminal to be used within the hotel. Guests arriving by car may use car parking and garage facilities. Room and laundry services round up the offerings.

| Small, clean hotel decorated and furnished with good taste. Excellent location and friendly staff. Good value. |

| Bernardo and Lisa at the front desk were amazing. Customer service was the best I've ever seen at a hotel. Never had one problem. The Mamitas beach club that you get into by staying at LaTortuga was also a nice place. The pool is different, but fun. |

| We went to La Tortuga for our honeymoon and had a wonderful time. The staff were very nice and went out of their way to take care of us. Our only complaint was that the electricity would go out on occasion and in August is get very hot in Mexico. But this was not the fault of the hotel. |

| We went to Playa del Carmen for a R & R week. La Tortuga Hotel and Spa was a perfect fit for our needs. It is a semi small hotel in a great location with an attentive staff and very nice rooms. The added bonus is the lovely breakfast (hours 7 - 12 )and the charming courtyard with pool. We loved walking one block to the main street and two blocks to the beach. One of the best parts of Playa del Carmen is the beautiful beach and the endless beach clubs where you can rent a lounge chair and unbrella for a few dollars. La Tortuga Hotel also gives passes to several beach clubs but you are free to go to any part of the beach that you desire. |
