The check-in was very good and people nice. Our room was very small and the bed very very hard but clean. The elevator is SLOW and usually wet from swimmers. Most of the time there was not hot water in the shower and the drain for the shower and sink always backed-up. By the time you finished your shower water was over your ankles. Room was not quiet with continue noise going on. Food was good but service for meals was hit or miss depending on waiter, not a problem many good places to eat in tne area. MANY kids in jacuzzi even though rules said no children. Hotel didn't enforce many rules. Very limited parking for cars and a long walk to off-site parking but they really didn't care. Definitely not for adults looking to relax. Beach was nice but hotel ran out of towels quickly. Not an upscale hotel and I would certainly never go back.

The hotel had a lovely exterior and we had a suite on the 3rd floor overlooking the ocean. The view was spectacular. You cannot drink the tap water, but they had central purified water dispensers on each floor. The beds were clean and comfortable. The shower was clean. The bathroom had a couple of cock roaches, but hey this is Mexico. The location is excellent to shopping and the great food next door at Panchos restaurant. We would easily return and love it again.

Las Flores was very nice. The bed was little hard but we find that in a lot of places in Mexico. The room was large and the kitchen was well stocked. The location is great, close to lots of restaurants and shopping. Laundry is right next door. There was a problem getting a beach lounge chair when the cruise ships were in. It seemed the staff catered to them instead of the hotel guests.

This is a hotel/time share location. It appears to cater primarily to middle class Mexican families. The service, cleanliness, room, bed, etc. were in line for the level of this hotel. The location right on the beach is good. Masatlan, in general, is a second tier vacation location, being somewhat run down, vacant buildings, etc.

I got an upgrade to a suite with ocean view and it was amazing! Super nice! Awsome to be that close and have the ocean and the island on sight The room was ok As long as the hotel ammenitites my stay was very short so pretty the room was ok, the elevator takes too long and it is very small. Overall is good, can't deny the great view.

When first arriving at the Las Flores we thought the location was superior as we had been to the Golden Zone before and stayed further up the beach... this was much better. Prime piece of property! The location here is supurb! So close to good restaurants and shopping and easy access to the bus to go into El Centro market. Really the only things I would have to say were lacking were something soft and comfy in the rooms and a indoor gym with some equiptment! Everything in the rooms was tile, brick & morter and even the couch area was cold hard plastic covered foam. We layed towels on everything including the kitchen dinette table chairs to cozy up the place. It was nice to have the kitchen to cook and make meals or grab something from the fridge quickly and probably saved lots of money. The noise from the ocean is pretty nice and soothing unless you get some great winds like we did one night.THe sunsets are amazing and so gorgeous and you can view them from your balcony! We only ate out once a day! After a day or two you realize we are indeed in Mexico and cannot expect plush materials it is more humid so acclimate and all of a sudden it is home! The beach is great. The vendors are a bit annoying, and prevelant, but if they are too much for you stay up by the pool. Nice waterfall. poolside food and drink service. Mazatlan is a real town and being in the golden zone, the food is safe and there is also purified water spigot out in each of the halls to use for any cooking etc. We still brushed out teeth with bottled water. THe showers were great and big and open. Overall we would certainly go there again.I hated to come home.

I like the fact the balconeys are so close to the beach. My brother and i upgraded from a studio room to a junior suite. It was supposed to have a microwave oven but had none and the hotel could, would not provide one even though it was listed in the room ameneties on their website. It is very close to many restaurants and shops. The beach vendors were a bother though. At the Pueblo Benito Mazatlan the vendors were not allowed to mingle with the guests unless invited to come closer. The hotel cafe and bar were not much to speak of as far a squality. Small prtions and not much alcohol in the drinks. The staff was very friendly and I would consider going back.

This is a somewhat older hotel but generalley acceptable. The room had few amenities (no coffe, no hairdryer, no drinking water) but was clean and the problems (burned out light bulbs, loose door handle) were quickly resolved. The hotel is right on the beach and also has two swimming pools and a restaurant with an OK menue. Safety deposit boxes are available in the lobby; just about everyone spoke reasonably good English. There are numerous restaurants and shops nearby, and many taxis and public bus service are available.
